My daughter got the royal blue dress and it really is lovely as well as unique - no need to worry about another girl at the party wearing something similar. The royal blue color and the sequins are bright and the velvet bow on the side is a nice accent. I would not say that this dress has a "baby doll" fit per se, as that usually means a very short fit/length and this particular dress is a bit more modest than that. The tulle gives the dress some "puff" but not too much so that it would look too big on whomever wears it. As the previous review mentions, the back of the dress is stretchy which makes it all the more comfortable. Great dress and we got a lot of compliments on it when my 7 year old wore it to a Christmas party. The only minor con was that after a few hours the sequins started to cause a bit of chaffing on the undersides of my daughter's arms, but that always happens with sequins. It did not bother her enough to take it off and the compliments she received far outweighed the minor con.
